Figure drawing is probably the most honest practice I have.
It trains the eye, slows you down, and leaves no room to hide—every model resets everything.
I return to it to experiment, to observe more carefully, and to keep learning. It reminds me that becoming a better artist isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up, looking closely, and never stopping the practice.
